1. Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead 1 & 2 (2010, 2014)
What’s it about?
Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead follows an Australian ‘bloke’ named Joe Cross, who goes on an epic transformative journey from diseased and “nearly dead” to fit, healthy, and happy. All through consuming only juiced vegetables and fruits. For 60 days straight. No kidding! Along the way he speaks with people about his journey and their ideas of health, and finds a man suffering from the very same condition as himself. Watch as both men transform their lives!
Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead 2 is both a follow-up on Joe and Phil (and a few surprise appearances) from film one, as well as a look at the sweeping trends of health moving across the globe. After the massive success of the first film, this one was begging to be made.
Why’d it make the list?
Pure inspirational value garnered Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead 1 & 2 a position in the top ten. The films easily made their way to spot #1 due to Joe being so candid with his experience, and so dedicated to his health mission. We can’t help it – every time we see Joe trying so hard it makes us want to renew every health effort we’ve ever made. We’re pretty sure it can do the same for you. It’s that inspirational!
Above all, Joe proves to everyone that diseases are reversible!
