Yes. I said it. The perfect hard boiled eggs.
Only, they aren’t boiled. Really!
I’ve failed so many times at making hard boiled eggs… something that you’d think would be simple. I mean, it’s eggs + water + heat = boiled eggs. Only, it’s never that simple. I’ve tried just about every method and trick that has ever been suggested. Nope. My eggs come out not done enough, ringed with green, or the peel sticks (almost every time) and they end up looking like they were chewed up by the dog.
So naturally, when I first saw this method I decided to add one more method to the list!
But, guess what? It worked! So, I’m passing this along to you. Finally… your hard boiled egg nightmares (and mine) can end. Whew.
Just in case the instructions aren’t easy enough… I’ve included a video. Enjoy!
- One Dozen Organic Eggs
- One Muffin Pan
- You're going to love this. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Put the eggs in the muffin pan. Place the pan in the oven. Set the timer for 30 minutes. Go enjoy a freshly made smoothie and read a good book until the timer goes off. Remove the pan from the oven and immediately place the eggs in an ice bath. Leave them there until they have completely cooled. Peel under running water. Enjoy!
