Know what I love about smoothies? It is really hard to mess them up! The truth is, I’m not a great rule follower, and recipes are really just rules, right? Smoothies are a pretty inexact science, so they are right up my alley. Did you mess it up? Nope! You just created a NEW flavor! This little beauty, the Dreamsicle, reminds me of my childhood! That orangey vanilla goodness brings me back to summers playing in the sprinkler!
Not only is this delicious… but it’s an immune boosting burst of vitamins and protein! How can you go wrong?
This is a super simple snack or meal replacement (just add a little protein powder of your choice). Simply peel (& remove the pith) from the orange and clementine, and add in your cashews, vanilla bean paste, frozen banana and hemp milk! Blend until smooth, and serve!
As a side note, in case you have trouble finding it, I got my vanilla bean paste online here. It works really great for smoothies!
- 1 Orange, peeled, pith removed, and cut into quarters
- 1 Clementine
- 1 Banana, frozen
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Bean Paste
- 1/2 cup Cashews
- 1-1/2 to 2 cups Hemp Milk (can substitute Coconut, Oat, or Almond)
- Wash & prep all ingredients.
- Blend until smooth & Drink up!
